王炜,湖南省芙蓉学者特聘教授,博导,湖南中医药大学药学院副院长,创新药物研究所副所长。Karachi University、陕西中医药大学、西南民族大学、湖南医药学院等客座职教授或特聘专家,柳州市政府顾问。
主持国家自然科学基金、国家863课题和国际合作课题多项。先后在国内外期刊发表SCI论文100余篇。获授权专利6项。
担任Bentham Science国际期刊Current Traditional Medicine执行主编;Current Medicinal Chemistry(影响因子3.8),Current Cancer Drug Target (影响因子3.5), Current Molecular Medicine(影响因子3.6),Current Alzheimer Research(影响因子3.8)的编委;Journal of Natural Products、Phytomedicine、Bioorganic & Medicinal Chemistry Letters等30多家SCI专业杂志的审稿人。

在中药药效物质基础研究领域成果:(1)新活性物质基础的发现,申请人对30个中药和湖南民族药品种进行了深入物质基础研究,发现了208个新化合物,176个新活性化合物,包括新颖的香豆木脂素,碳甲基黄酮烯,三聚体呫吨酮苷等骨架,发表在Journal of Natural Products(2016, 79,3079)和Phytochemistry(2018, 145, 85)等杂志;(2)活性分析新方法的建立,基于中药和民族药物化学成分的多样性的基础上,开展了活性多样性分析,建立了一系列快速、灵敏、高效的活性分析方法,发表在Analytical Chemistry, 2018, 90, 2655;2017,89,11014,IF:6.350,Biosensors & Bioelectronic, 2017, 90: 103–109. IF:9.518和Talanta, 2019, 204, 20-28.等杂志;(3)药物筛选新方法研究,寻找活性成分的特异性作用靶点,探索作用机制,建立新的药物筛选方法,发表在Journal of Pineal Research(2018;65:e12478),Angewandte Chemie-International Edition(2019, doi.10.1002/anie.201903683),Sensors and Actuators B-Chemical(2019,291,85–492.
